Abstract:
Take a deep dive into the International Coaching Federation (ICF)’s Ethical Conduct Review process by reviewing a real ethical complaint. Participants in this hands-on workshop will have the opportunity to play investigator and final reviewer for an actual case heard by the ICF’s Independent Review Board (IRB). Carrie Hopkins-Doubts, Chair of the IRB, will lead participants through the fact-finding and final review processes used by the IRB to make a final determination around breach or no breach, and the ethical conversations that arise as part of the process. This session will include breakout rooms. 

Carrie Hopkins-Doubts, PCC, is a Spiritual Resilience Coach working with men and women experiencing major life transitions, whether it be in relationships, career, health, or spirituality. 

As the founder of Life’s Next Chapter Coaching, Carrie’s passion is helping men and women discover new dreams for themselves as they consciously and powerfully rebuild their lives after loss by guiding them to reconnect with their heart, reclaim their power, and realign with their purpose to create their life’s next chapter. 

Carrie provides mentoring for practicing coaches and students who are seeking ICF credentialing. She joined the Ethics Independent Review Board for the ICF in 2019 and was appointed to the position of Chair in 2023. Carrie holds a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology With an Emphasis in Consciousness, Health, and Healing as well as certifications in Grief Counseling, Mentor Coaching, Transformational Presence Coaching, and Relationship and Divorce Coaching.
