Abstract:
In this session, the multicultural panel of presenters will conduct a short demonstration to illustrate the cultural nuances that affect team relationships and reflect with the audience on the ethical implications arising from the difficulty in translating and interpreting different cultural aspects. 

Eva Hirsch Pontes is an Executive Coach, Trainer and Facilitator, Coach Mentor and Supervisor and Conflict Mediator. Eva currently alternates her residence between Berlin and her hometown, Rio de Janeiro. Eva holds a Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential from ICF – International Coaching Federation, as well as the ESIA Coach Supervisor Accreditation from the EMCC – European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Eva has been actively involved in volunteer activities for ICF: she integrated the first Board of ICF/Chapter Brazil, and currently holds a seat in the Advisory Board of that Chapter. Eva has also served as a member of the Ethics Committee of ICF/Chapter Brazil.

Silvina Spiegel, is a Multi-Cultural Executive Coach, Supervisor-Mentor coach and Coach Trainer. Coaching experience in Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew and English. Current representative from Latin America for the Regional Coordination Team NALAC – ICF Professional Coaches, working towards the DEIJ&B of the Region. Brazilian representative since 2020 for the Latin America Forum, responsible for the inclusion of Portuguese translation in every event. Former ICF Brazil Chapter Vice President. Founder, director and former VP of the Rio de Janeiro sub-unit. Professional Certified Coach by International Coaching Federation since 2015.

Dumisani (Dumi) is an internationally accredited executive coach, team coach, coach trainer, leadership skills development facilitator, and organizational culture practitioner.He designs and delivers leadership, coaching, team coaching, organisational culturechange, and people development programmes for executive and organisational clients across Africa and beyond. Dumi is part of an international faculty at the Global Team Coaching Institute (GTCI), where he co-designs and co-facilitates team coaching training at Foundational, Practitioner and Senior Practitioner levels. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Global Board of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Dumi is a founding Board Member of the Africa Board for Coaching, Consulting and Coaching Psychology (ABCCCP), a coaching association promoting professional coaching development across Africa. He co-founded the Ubuntu Coaching Foundation (UCF) in South Africa at The Coaching Centre (TCC), where he has been Senior Faculty for over 15 years. He is accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) as a Senior Practitioner in Team Coaching and is working towards his ICF Professional Coaching Certificate (PCC) credential. He works with public sector, private sector and multilateral clients around the world, and operates from Johannesburg, South Africa.

Ivan Yong is an organizational psychologist, angel investor, sales coach and mentor. He is a frequent speaker on startup culture, disruptive innovation for corporate organization and sales strategy for growth. Ivan is passionate about social justice for his pro bono work, initiated various global social responsibility programs with the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) and is an official mentor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong for the past 10 years. Last but not least, he authored the book, “Department of Startup : Why Every Fortune 500 Should Have One’, a holistic approach to the inception of a culture of innovation within corporates.
